Mental Health Clinic at Canterbury Way Surgery
There is a drop-in mental health clinic at Canterbury Way Surgery. It is available to patients of all of Stevenage’s GPS but the patient does need to see their own doctor first.

Stanmore Medical Group Counselling and Mental Health Clinic
To attend a meeting with the Counsellor you will need to be referred by a doctor. Once you have been referred to the Stevenage & North Herts Counselling Centre you will be given 6 sessions of funded counselling.
Upon receipt of a referral the centre will send you some forms to complete, asking for contact details and availability.
Once you have returned your forms to the centre, you will receive an appointment to see a counsellor within 7-21 days.
If you do not receive a letter from us within 14 days please be sure to call the centre or send an email.
